| One thing that makes this place different from other restaurants is that you put your food on a banana leaf instead of a plate. The food served here is typically South-East Asian. The standard seems to vary quite a bit depending on which branch you visit: the one on Lockhart Road opposite the Elizabeth Tower is good, but avoid the one in Causeway Plaza. | |||||

| A modern cafe opposite the Peak Tower that provides a great view to the city of Hong Kong and the famous harbour. The food here is a east-west fusion--- where else would you find dishes like Peking duck in naan bread? An excellent place to stop for lunch or dinner after touring the Peak and/or strolling around the rather tacky Peak Tower. | |||||

| A rather cramped noodles bar opposite Times Square in Causeway Bay, but the noodles are one of the best in Hong Kong and I do make an effort to visit this place every time I am in town. I normally go for wanton noodles or dumpling noodles, and a plate of fresh kailan vegetable in oyster sauce--- this only costs HK$33 which is really good value for money. To finish off, ask for a bowl of "Hung Bak" (Red & White) which is a mixture of red bean soup, tapioca soup and sweet bean curd--- sounds disgusting, but it tastes absolutely gorgeous. Not a place for lingering, but it's definitely the place to go for a satisfying bowl of noodles! | |||||

| Despite being part of the Maxim catering group, this restaurant is more classy than the other restaurants in the Maxim chain. The restaurant has a very inviting atmosphere, and there's live Chinese music in the evenings. The service is efficient and polite. Food-wise, one of my favourite dishes is the steamed fish with a crushed yellow bean topping - the fish is always cooked to perfection and stays nice and moist. Another dish definitely worth trying is the braised pork belly in a clay pot - the meat is really tender and the sweet soy sauce is so delicious that you would just want to mop it all up with your last grain of rice or last piece of Chinese bread. There are also so very spicy dishes that are worth trying. | |||||

| I must admit that I haven't been there for quite a long time, but it used to do a really delicious duck a l'orange on Saturdays. My mum likes the chicken madras there. The cuisine is truly international, offering many classic dishes from Europe to the Indian subcontinent. | |||||
