Come here at around 8pm to beat the crowd - this is a popular place, serving local patagonian cuisine in a historic Fuegian home. There's a great selection of starters to choose from and they come in pretty generous portions, so if you don't have a large appetite, you might consider sharing the starter. Main courses such as lamb in orange and honey sauce as well as king crab are good quality and delicious.

There are a few parrillas (steak houses) along this stretch of San Martin, and to be honest they are probably all pretty similar. For a true carnivore experience, go for the mixed grill parrilla - the selection includes sausage, black pudding, kidney and to start, followed by lamb, beef and chicken. You have a choice of salad or fries to accompany the meat. And the cost? 25 pesos! Alternatively go for the all-you-can-eat option if you are feeling extra greedy.

Originally a general grocery store selling a great variety of products in the southern-most town in the world, this is now a café/bar serving a good selection of bread and delicious cakes. A good place to relax and waste away a morning or afternoon in really.
