A prestigious Michelin 3-star restaurant situated in the 8th district of Paris, and this is probably the cheapest (still going to cost about 1000FF per person!) but also the nicest of the 3-star restaurants in the city. You may get a bit lost with the extensive wine list, but the knowledgeable sommelier is always ready to suggest a good bottle within your price range to accompany your meal--- you don't have to splash out to get good wine, even something in the 200-400FF price range is very drinkable. The food is cooked to the highest standard, and don't forget to leave space in your stomach for their desserts--- their marquise au chocolat with pistachio sauce is unforgettable.
