  1. Put the milk, rice, water and 7oz sugar in a heavy pot o top of the stove on low heat for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally (Cook down, it will thicken a little after it cools down).
  2. Remove from heat and mix in the remaining ingredients. Heat for a few more minutes and remove from stove.
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon (no quantity specified, but Val adds "a lot"!!!).

Val's Rice Pudding
Val was a very good colleague of mine in the US, and her rice pudding is easily the best I've tasted!
