My musical taste is quite varied really. Take me into a record shop anywhere in the world and I would usually come out with a CD (or three!). Although I live in the UK, this does not mean my music exposure is limited to the UK chart scene. Far from it in fact! While the majority of music I listen to are sung in either English, Chinese or French, I also have a variety of songs sung in other languages.
At the end of each year, I usually like to come up with my own list of Top 10 songs of the year, as well as one album of the year. So far the list only goes from 2000-2004 but gradually I'll backdate my list to the 1980's (I bought my first record back in 1980). I have also included links where possible, so that you can buy the CD or DVD containing that song (this could be a single or an album, depending on where the track appears) - feel free to click on the link and purchase the CD/DVDs (hehehe, I get a little bit of money back that way).
Also in the near future I'll add a section on all the albums that I have really liked a lot, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to you (if you want to expand your musical horizon).... So watch this space!
Now just one question for you.... If you have to compile a 10-track CD that you will take to a desert island to listen to for the rest of your life, what 10 tracks would you have on there? My 10 tracks would probably be (not in any particular order):
I'm sure I can come up with another few lists of top 10 - there are simply too many songs I like.
